Originally from New York and trained in fine arts and illustration, I got started more than 15 years ago in print, designing brands, book layouts, and print collateral before progressing to digital, web and app design. I have had the opportunity to work with some iconic brands, product companies and agencies and have worked on a variety of products from D2C apps, B2B SaaS products and IoT web applications.
Most recently I worked on a B2B Direct Mail Marketing platform for PostPilot. In addition I have been spending my free time brushing up on the latest workflows with AI, specifically Claude + Claude Code, Figma Make and Cursor. Two areas where I have seen AI positively impacting the design process are design systems and research.
This website was actually designed manually in Figma (I still love getting into the details) but it was coded with AI. I used Claude for planning, guidance and some writing assistance, and I used the Cursor IDE to write all of the code, push it to GitHub and host it on Netlify. Cursor made it quite easy to experiment with motion and interactions just through conversation.
